Diwali and a house-warming are dates. They are not a price list. Mumbai Master Carpentry does not run a festival rate, a seasonal cut, or a “book this week” offer. The quote is the same kind of quote we write in any other month: measured, itemised, and approved before we cut. If you have a date, tell us early enough that the calendar is honest.

After approval, a modular kitchen is often about 12–18 days, depending on size and finish. One wardrobe is often about 7–10 days after its own approval. A single furniture piece is usually faster than a kitchen. A full flat is weeks. Those ranges are the same ones on the kitchen timeline and the process page. Your quote carries the dates for your job. A festival does not replace them.

Diwali
If you want a kitchen or a wardrobe usable before Diwali, the useful message is the date you need handover, not the word Diwali by itself. Society rules tighten when many flats are renovating at once: lift slots, vendor forms, and noisy-work hours. Tell us those rules at the visit. We plan the install around them. We do not assume a loading window exists because it is a festival month.
Finish and hardware have to be chosen before we cut. A change after cutting is a new quote line. It is also the change most likely to miss a date. Decide the shutter, then hold it.
House-warming
For a griha pravesh or a house-warming, decide which rooms must be done before guests arrive and which rooms can follow. Usually that is the kitchen and the bedroom you will actually use. Guest-room wardrobes and a second TV unit can be a later visit if the date is close. We would rather finish two rooms properly than leave five rooms half fitted.
Kitchens: modular kitchens. Wardrobes: wardrobes. Other pieces: custom furniture. Indicative starts stay what they already are — kitchen from ₹85,000, wardrobe from ₹22,000, furniture from ₹18,000 a piece. None of those becomes a festive package.
What does not change because of the date
- Payment on most home jobs: 40% after approval, 40% when the work reaches site, 20% at handover. See payment milestones.
- The 1-year workmanship warranty. A festival handover does not extend it and does not shrink it.
- No invented urgency. If the date is closer than the work allows, we say what can be ready and what should wait.
